Meet the latest addition to our growing team!
Valentine Occupational Health is continuing to grow, and we’re delighted to announce Charlie Day has joined us as our Marketing Executive. We’re very excited to have Charlie on board with us, we might even give him control over the office music (which is a big deal around here!). Charlie brings with him a new take on Marketing and PR, giving more focus to digital channels and the merging of creativity with sales. When Charlie’s not at the office, you’ll find him catching up on the latest TV and movies or at the gym!
Managing Director, Adam Smith said “I am delighted to have Charlie onboard, indeed he is a great addition to our proactive team. Charlie will play a paramount role in our strategic marketing efforts, and to how we position ourselves in what is an ever-changing marketplace”.
Here is a little more insight into Charlie’s background and why he made the decision to join Valentine Occupational Health.
What is your background?
I graduated in 2020 from Coventry University with a degree in Marketing. I was fortunate enough to get a job straight out the gates, working with a CAD/CAM software specialist, heading up their marketing. As my first job in my Marketing career, it really helped me develop core skills like idea generation, typography and content creation.
Why Valentine?
I went into Marketing because I wanted to help people. Valentine looked exceptional from the outside and from learning more about the team, their work ethic and how they look after one another, I wanted to be a part of it!
What’s your favourite thing about Marketing?
Marketing is something which fluctuates rapidly, and you must be able to adapt to make sure your campaign is successful. I thrive under pressure and to then make something you can be proud which can help someone else, all the better if you can bounce ideas off your team around you, it’s an incredibly rewarding process!
What’s something interesting about you?
I’ve been on a weight-loss journey since December, so far, I’ve lost 19kg / 3 Stone!
